Why I started this Blog

It’s been in my head to start a blog for a few years now but I’ve always found running two businesses and being a Mum has taken up so much of my time.  That was until we all experienced what was probably the most life changing moment of our lives. 

We’re currently in the midst of lockdown due to COVID-19.  My businesses are all about helping people to feel good through fitness, nutrition and relaxation; and the physical businesses are both temporarily closed.  It’s not that I’m not busy.  We’ve moved as much as we can online and created virtual experiences including a beautiful MADEtoDream live meditation session on Facebook but I want to do so much more.  There’s never been a more important time for wellness and selfcare, and I want as many people as possible to benefit from what I’ve learnt.  Not just now but also in the future when we return to a new kind of normal.  This has been a driving force in getting my blog up and running.

I know what it’s like to live an unhealthy life, and I feel much happier now that I make healthier choices. And I am learning all the time to be stronger and kinder mentally too. All of this just takes that first step forward.  But it’s always much easier to do things when you have the support of someone else and that’s what I’m here for…  to support you with frustrating times, to inspire you if you need a little help with your wellbeing, and to encourage you to keep on a healthier path. Whether that’s with delicious healthy recipes, tried and tested fitness recommendations or finding ways to still the mind, sleep and relax. 

I’ll also be talking about my experience as a Mum and how I balance this with keeping fit and my business life (or don’t sometimes!)
