August Wellness Round Up

August Wellness Round Up

This months round up is all about nourishment, both for the mind and body. Here are my top picks from vegan treats to audible books.

NIM’S FRUIT CRISPS

I love these crisps, they are so much healthier than traditional crisps and they’re air dried which is even better. The kids range is great too and Ted loves them, although I do steal a couple of his when he’s not looking! I have to be very quick! Use NIMS10 for 10% off when you order online!

DOTERRA ESSENTIAL OILS

I’ve been trying out these oils for a couple of months now and there are lots of options depending on your mood and what your needs are. You can head over to the MADE blog to read about how they can be used with the seasons.

NOMO VEGAN CHOCOLATE

Forget about FOMO this is NOMO which stands for no missing out. This vegan chocolate is rich and creamy, plus the hazelnot bar contains a natural nutty flavour, with absolutely zero nuts in it.

AUDIBLE APP

I love reading but finding the time to settle down with a book seems almost impossible at the moment. With Audible, I can listen while I work or run so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. We’ve got some book reviews coming soon so keep your eyes peeled for them and it is worth checking out the deals on Audible as they have reduced books and free credits popping up.

GREGORY’S TREE FRUIT TWISTS

Organic, vegan, 60 calories and totally tasty. These are a great snack in between meals or just as a treat, they’re really that good. Nice and sweet as well as healthy, perfect for mid-afternoon sugar cravings.

GODDESS GUIDANCE CARDS

Perfect when you need a little guidance in your day or a bit of reassurance that you’re heading in the right direction, Pull a card from the deck and see what it says and which Goddess is showing up for you. I like using these as a little comfort and love reading about the history behind each one.

KATIE’S FOOD CO CRISPS

Quite literally bananas, the flavours in these are amazing. Perfect for popping in my bag on the go and good for sharing too. I love what Katie’s brand is all about too, her story is lovely if you fancy a read.

BRIGHT BARLEY DAIRY FREE MILK

The salted caramel drink tastes amazing. Made from grains, it doesn’t have a strange aftertaste that you sometimes get with milk alternatives. There are other flavours to choose from but start with the salted caramel, trust me…

PIMP MY SALAD PLANTBASED SNACKS

These little pots jazz up what would otherwise be a boring meal. I’m on the go a lot and with prepping meals for Ted as well as working, it often means my own lunch gets pushed to the bottom of the priority list. But, having these pots to hand means I can spice up a bowl of pasta or salad easily. My favourite is the cashew cheese at the moment, plus they are all vegan!

THE INSPIRED STORIES JOURNAL

I totally LOVE The Inspired Stories journals. You can have a timeless one and use it to record your goals and steps to work towards achieving them, helping to keep busy minds focused. It encourages you to record things you are grateful for and lessons you have learnt. I take mine around everywhere! And have bought lots of notepads too, including a personalised one. I love technology don’t get me wrong but writing down my lists and ticking things off always feels so good! Check out The Inspired Stories…
