Started this morning off right with a green smoothie ?
40g vegan vanilla protein
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup cucumber
1 tsp spirulina
250mp almond milk
350 calories, 36g of protein and over 90mg of vitamin C so more than your minimum daily requirement. Don’t worry about the spinach and spirulina taste as the banana, mango and protein powder totally masks the greenery… but you still get all the benefits!!
Definitely one to try if you’re new to green smoothies… if you feel like you can go a bit ‘greener’ swap out your spinach for kale for a whopping 100mg extra vitamin C and a couple of grams in extra protein.
