I have wanted to yoga for the last few years but running a business, starting another business, getting, married, having a baby and moving house seem to have got in the way… and made me need it even more!!⁠

About 7 years ago I started exercising for stress relief and it helped dramatically, to clear my mind and ease some of my anxiety. But in a fast-paced ‘I’m ready to conquer even more now so bring it on’ sort of way.⁠

I really need something to help ease stress in a relaxing, mindful, calm way… to teach me to slow down, to help me to switch off. Now, when people say ‘I don’t have time for XYZ’ I usually challenge it, as I honestly believe you make time for what is important.⁠

But even having a yoga studio at my work didn’t make it easy for me, with my commute to work, long shifts, picking Teddy up and trying to keep my fitness up in the gym. Well, I just didn’t have time for yoga ?⁠

The main issue was trying to sync my availability with a yoga class time. Evenings would be best for me but I can’t leave the house after Teddy has gone to sleep. I can then do yoga before Teddy wakes, yoga when he is napping, or yoga after he has gone to bed, all at home when suits me. Aiming for twice a week and will try to do the same days each week too.⁠
