Overnight oats are so deliciously creamy! You can prep the night before and pop in the fridge – they’re ready for your breakfast in the morning. Or for a morning snack!
You can use most oats but rolled oats are the best. Your overnight oats will last sealed in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can eat them cold, or warm them up for 45 seconds in the microwave.
This easy, protein packed recipe makes 1 portion, but you can scale it up to make a few batches.
1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 2 tsp smooth peanut butter, 1tsp maple syrup. Stir everything together, cover and pop in the fridge… it really is that simple! Overnight the milk will soak into the oats and the flavours will mix together. Yum yum yum.
I sprinkled cinnamon on top, a dollop of peanut butter and some sliced apples. This meal is so full of protein goodness and you will stay super full for hours, trust me!
